The world can now sleep a little tighter this Christmas as Mr. Bloom himself has revealed his personal thoughts of the time spent with Canon’s EOS C300. I won’t do Philip the disservice of reintegrating his likes and dislikes, which have been covered thoughtfully in the video above, but hopefully his opinions of the camera won’t be met with the same backlash the prior review of the RED Scarlet was met with… Hopefully.
The 1958 Dutch documentary piece below, perhaps even an instructional overview for Kodak factory employees, takes us through the complete production process of film, from the components needed to the quality control and packaging. Take a look:
Valentin Sama, founder of DSLR Magazine, has just revealed some interesting information on his personal blog, stating a Canon “Super-G” is being prepped to compete with the mirrorless camera market. It wasn’t mentioned whether this G-branded camera would in fact be Canon’s first leap into the mirrorless game, however, Sama’s report does correlate with a recent CanonRumors post, claiming the next Canon G would be a departure from prior models. No further details were given other than our first glimpse of such a camera could come as early as CES 2012 held in just a few week’s.
