Sony: The NEX-7 With Black 18-55mm Kit Lens Coming “Late February”

Currently, just over 200 body-only NEX-7′s have made their way to the public. A far cry from the plans before the devastating natural disaster hit Thailand, flooding Sony’s NEX and Alpha manufacturing and production facility which consequently delayed the NEX-7′s scheduled arrival last year.

Due to the stalemate of the economy, many newspapers and print publications, especially in the UK, are cutting costs and have resorted to letting go of their on-staff photographers with the methodology of hiring freelancers, resorting to stock-images, buying photos from agencies, or even relying on the public’s eye, because it’s deemed as “cheaper.”
