NASA’s Blue Marble: “The Highest Resolution Image of Earth Ever”

NASA has just revealed another “Blue Marble” image of the Earth, continuing the fine tradition of releasing extremely high-quality images of our home-sweet-home. However, the latest image, captured by NASA’s VIIR (Visible/Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite) instrument aboard the recently-named Suomi NPP, is now being coined as ” the highest resolution image of the Earth ever”
