Study: Global Digital Photography Market to Rise to $82.5 Billion by 2016

Quick News – BBC Research has just released a report stating that by 2016, the global digital photography market should reach an estimated $82.5 billion, a 3.8% annual growth rate between 2011 to 2016. Specifically, digital cameras and lenses are set to inflate at an annual growth rate of 5.8% from 2011, growing to nearly $50 billion.

Japan’s Market Watchdog Wants Olympus to Pay $2.5 Million in “False Accounting” Fines

In a recommendation made by the Securities Exchange and Surveillance Commission (SESC) to the Financial Services Agency (FSA), Olympus has been endorsed to pay nearly 200 million yen, or roughly $2.5 million, in accounting fees due to the company’s false regulatory filings dating back from March of 2007 through Q1 of 2011.
