A Complete Tear-down of a Water-damaged Fuji X100 Shows its Beautiful Innards

I must say, as a Fuji X100 owner myself, there have been times where I’ve wanted to dismantle my photographic weapon of choice for reasons other than what James Maher’s motives were for the dissecting of his unit shown above. While my personal reasons stem from the sometimes frustrating experiences the quirky sides of Fuji’s point and shoot can evoke, Maher’s story originated from a much more unfortunate source – water damage.

If you thought Olympus had their product teasing fill after sending out those mysterious packages of nuts last month, which ultimately ended up being in reference to the recently announced Tough cameras, think again. The camera maker is back at it, now choosing to tease an upcoming product announcement via the help of French poet Charles Baudelaire.
