Photographer and Boulder, Colorado resident Shawn Heinrich, has been getting a lot of attention recently ever since he first posted the image above to his his Facebook page last week, an amazing shot of a whale shark snooping around a small yacht.
In leu of the fantastic series of images from NASA we posted yesterday regarding Apolo 11′s historic journey to our distant neighbor, the Moon, comes some more photographic gems from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, this time showcasing the artistic beauty of the geographic characteristics of our home planet.
Last Friday, July 23rd, marked 43-years to the day since man first stepped foot on our nearest neighbor, forever changing the world’s view on space and what can be done when creative and determined minds collectively work together to achieve one common and historic goal.

Quick News – Can’t wait until tomorrow to hear all that the Canon has in store for their mirrorless EOS M? We don’t blame you, as it has taken an unusually long amount of time for image and specification leaks to emerge.

The images above and below are the first true leaked shots of Canon’s upcoming mirrorless interchangeable lens offering to be coined the “EOS M.”
While the entry-level full-frame talk has run a bit dry on the Nikon front, Canon has taken the rumor-mill baton and picked up where the D600 murmurings has left off with the latest word coming from our friends at Canon Rumors, revealing the first possible specifications for the yet-to-be-named addition to the EOS line.
Unsurprisingly, 43Rumors has received a slew of leaked images from one of their trusted sources, revealing our first real and complete look at the soon-to-be-announced Lumix G5. In fact, the latest word not only points to Panasonic as set to announce the G5 tomorrow, but also the LX7, FZ200 and the 45-150mm f/4-5.6 G Vario lens.
