Looks good! Pretty much confirms all my thoughts thus far, having been in many of these shooting scenarios. The video one isn't going to be pretty though, by all the reports of aliasing and moiré on the D800. :(

Looking forward to when I can eventually upgrade to the 5D3! Love the idea of the silent shutter for my movie set and recording studio shoots. My 40D is a little bit noisy, even with the silent shooting turned on.

I am hoping that the D800's shutter is at least a little quieter than my D700. The D700 sounds like a .38 pistol being fired when I shoot pro ballet (at least on the quiet numbers). The 5D Mk III's high-speed silent shutter is very quiet (see analysis here), the cost of jumping ship can be prohibitive.
