Earlier this month we reported word of an expected price hike set to take hold in the U.S. market for both Sony E and A mount lenses on April 1st of this year. Although unconfirmed, it was initially perceived that this change would be limited to just U.S. retailers. However, SonyAlphaRumors has just added another revelation to the unfortunate PhotoRumors report by revealing additional information from a “trusted source,” stating that the hike will now be “worldwide.”
It is still uncertain on the exact details concerning increases to the worldwide markets, but the U.S. can expect the following, effective the 1st of April:
