Quick News – Canon Rumors is reporting Canon’s highly anticipated standard zoom refresh, the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM version II, has now been delayed yet again, bumping its expected arrival to “mid-September” territory.
The reasoning for the apparent delay stems from what Canon is calling “final adjustments in production” – code for taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the lens arrivals at retailers without any performance, and or mechanical hiccups. This further setback will now push the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM’s release date back roughly 7 months after it was initially announced…
