Let’s Help These Kickstarter Campaigns Get off the Ground: EZ-Steady and Modogrip

Share

One of the greatest aspects associated with the independent-creative community is the support to our peers and from our peers with the overall intent to drive the industry forward and help those involved along the way. There is no better example of this, in my opinion, then with the crowd-funding efforts by the likes of Kickstarter. Today, we look at two new DSLR video accessories that are looking for our help to get going.

Check out each campaign video below for a product overview or click on the headline to be taken to the corresponding Kickstarter page for additional information:

EZ-Steady DSLR Camera Stabilizer

What is the EZ-Steady?

If you are unfamiliar with camera stabilizers, the EZ-Steady is a way to get really smooth camera motions without having to use a large rig. It is a simple, hand held device that eliminates camera shake and gives the footage a feeling of flying.

Modogrip

What is Modogrip?

Modogrip are handles and wheel mounts that transform a monopod into a do-it-all filmmaking tool.  Allowing every videographer and filmmaker to capture steady camera shots, set up and film dolly moves in an instant and do out of this world boom shots that would normally require a jib arm/boom plus crew.  And most importantly Modogrip is a all-in-one product and portable.

If you know of any other campaigns that are looking for community support and pertain to the content displayed here on The Digital Visual, send us a message and we would be happy check it out and spread the word to our readers.

Can’t believe people are falling for the $225 Ez-Steady, when they can get the same thing for $50! http://www.indiegogo.com/GUERRICAM-Camera-Stabilizer
