Quick News – As Sony Alpha Rumors continues to compile more and more information from trusted sources regarding the soon to be announced Sony NEX-F5, the first details have begun to emerge concerning what changes Sony has in store for the NEX-5N’s successor.
According to SAR’s sources, the F5 will share the same 16MP sensor as the F3 (shown above), as well as the 180-degree flip out screen that’s been getting so much attention. Where the two cameras will differentiate themselves, at least so far, is in the NEX-F5′s WiFi integration – a feature that’s sure to become more and more prevalent in future mirrorless camera offerings. It was also mentioned that a “high-quality G zoom lens” will also be announced alongside the NEX-F5 in the form of a 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6. This new kit lens upgrade will also contain OSS – Sony’s patented optical stabilization technology and an overall superb build quality.
More to come…
