I always enjoy a good episode of How It’s Made. Witnessing some of the painstaking elements that are involved in the production of the gear we use from day to day results in a better appreciation for the visual arts and creation of our own art, especially if these tools are still made by human hand.

Below, we see how the Arriflex 435 is made, detailing the production process starting with the milling of the main housing to the installation of the shutter. Take a look:
