If you at all familiar with Digitalrev TV, now one of the most popular photography and gear devoted web-series around, you’ve undoubtedly seen Kai Wong and the DR team dismantle, set a blaze, walk on, paint pink, or completely trash high-priced camera goods, all in an effort to keep us entertained and informed.
In this particular “hardcore durability test” the Canon 7D takes a cue from the Energizer Bunny, continuing to “go and go” while remaining functional as a stills camera despite; being run into by a loading truck, dropped from a massive set of stairs, encased in a frozen block of ice, shot with an Airsoft gun, and as shown above, being burnt to a crisp.
