Quick News – After the various image and specification leaks experienced over the past few weeks, the final piece to the Panasonic GF5 announcement saga has just been revealed courtesy of Digicame-info, stating that April 5th will be the day in which the GF3′s successor will be announced.
Quick News – There seems to be no ceasing of Panasonic GF5 image leaks this week, as today another batch of front profile shots have surfaced courtesy of nPhoto. As the prior image slips have concluded, not much has changed in terms of styling from the GF3 aside from the new hand-grip, which the images above and below make clearly visible.
Quick News – Just last week, an intentionally blurry image from what was believed to be the Panasonic GF5 surfaced, and although little could be deciphered from the leak, it was evident that not much had changed in terms of styling between the GF3 and GF5. Today, the first clear shot of the camera has emerged backing up that sentiment as, aside from a beefier hand-grip, the GF5 looks nearly identical to its predecessor… at least from the front.
The intentionally blurred image you see above was sent to the folks at nPhoto from an unknown source claiming that the camera on the right is the soon to be unveiled Panasonic GF5, the successor to the current GF3, shown on the left side of the image.
Sadoyasu Miyazaki, the optics maker behind a plethora of handmade Leica M-glass, has now devoted his attention to producing a well-crafted, fast prime for Micro Four Thirds system cameras with the Sonnetar 25mm F/1.1, shown above attached to a Panasonic GH1.
In true Olympus fashion and keeping in line with what we’ve come to expect from the camera maker comes news that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise in the eyes of many, as Olympus Japan’s Toshiyuki Terada informed the folks at Techrader that their next camera release will likely be a PEN, stating:
