Quick News – Engadget is reporting word directly from a Lytro launch event in Hong Kong that the light-field camera maker is planning to add even more functionality to its ‘shoot now, focus later’ offering, going a step further than the addition of manual controls announced last week, displaying a parallax-based 3D effect, teased in the video below.
To be enabled via a firmware update by year’s end, Lytro is also reported to add 3D monitor and television support, working in conjunction with the new parallax feature.
