Quick News – After the various image and specification leaks experienced over the past few weeks, the final piece to the Panasonic GF5 announcement saga has just been revealed courtesy of Digicame-info, stating that April 5th will be the day in which the GF3′s successor will be announced.
Furthermore, according to the report, GF5 shipments may begin finding their way to customers as soon as April 26th. Aside from the aforementioned revelations, no changes or alterations have been made to the expected specifications as of yet, with the latest word sticking to a 12MP sensor, new 920k dots screen LCD with new touch interface, AF speed as fast as 0.09 seconds, ISO sensitivity up to 12,800, and an overall jump in noise performance over its predecessor.
Although everything looks to be seemingly falling into the general formalities of a Panasonic camera announcement, following the rumor first, information leak second, unveiling third sequencing, stay tuned for any additional information that may arise prior to April 5th.
