Back in 2012, Fuji generated a ton of buzz with the unveiling of the X-Pro1 – their first flagship Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens X-Series offering. Fast forward nearly two years later, and we’ve yet to see its successor, even-though in that time-frame, the X-E1, X-E2, X100S and X-M1 have all seen the light of day.
Well, in just a few short months that all may change, as Eric Reagan of PhotographyBay has received murmurings from sources to keep a keen eye on Fuji during CES 2014 to be held from January 7th through 10th. The report claims Fuji will indeed unveil the X-Pro2 during the annual show.
Of course, as with all rumors, its important to take presumptions with a grain of salt, but it is with noting that Fuji first introduced the X-Pro1 back at CES 2012…
Coincidental dates? Intentional methods from Fuji? Stay tuned as we inch ever so closer to the new year.
