Back in February, when Photo Rumors first broke the story of an expected Sony lens price increase due to take effect this past April 1st for the U.S. market, many were holding their breath for the slim chance that the report was nothing more than an April fool day gag. But, surely enough, April 1st has come and gone, and as expected, has left behind a new set of prices for a total of 30 A and E-mount Sony lenses, with increases ranging from $30-$700.
While the price changes for U.S. retailers can be viewed below, the latest word from Sony Alpha Rumors is that the increases might not be limited to just the United States. Sources close to SAR have stated that more counties may soon feel the effects of the price hikes, although no definite time frame, nor regions were given.
