As promised, Canon has completed their prompt investigation into the 5D Mark III’s light-leak phenomenon, an issue that has been affecting numerous early adopters since the camera’s recent release. While many have experienced value changes in the 5D3′s metering system when the top LCD is illuminated in dark situations, Canon has confirmed that, while these fluctuations do exist on the surface, it does not affect the final image out come stating:
