After weeks and weeks of rumors, image leaks, and specifications speculations, we now can hear the news straight from Fuji themselves as the X-Pro1, their first leap into the mirrorless camera game, is official.

Coming from an X100 owner, the X-Pro1 is a culmination of all the things I wish the X100 was… and than some – an interchangeable lens, mirrorless, and improved version of last years hit camera that took the industry by surprise. But not to be mistaken, it isn’t an X100 successor, but rather a new stand-alone model, building upon the many lessons learned from prior X-series releases, while capitalizing on the things that made those cameras as regarded as they are.

Riding on the heels of this morning’s preliminary specification and feature set leak from Wells Fargo Advisory comes the added exclamation mark to a day that has been absolutely chock-filled with information. Courtesy of Réponses Photo Magazine, the good folks who also leaked the Nikon D4, comes an “official” first look at the mirrorless game changer, the Fuji X-Pro1.

Additionally, we also get our first glimpse at the three prime lenses that will be announced alongside the X-Pro1 – the 18mm f/2 (27mm equivalent), 35mm f/1.4 (53mm equivalent), and 60mm f/2.4 (90mm equivalent), all shown below:
