When Ricoh Japan unveiled their updated GXR Roadmap, no details were given on the mysterious silhouette of a 16mp 24-85mm sensor/lens module shown below. However, PhotoRumors has posted an updated piece of information from Christian Sorega, reporting that the APS-C zoom combo will have an aperture range of f/3.5-5.6. Furthermore, Ricoh’s official press release is rumored to land on January 5th, showcasing at PMA & CES 2012, which will be held from January 10th to the 13th, and shipping out to customers by the 20th.

Ricoh Japan has just released a new tease for GXR users, revealing a new APS-C sensor-lens unit set for release in early 2012. No concrete details were given other than the 16MP CMOS sensor/24-85mm lens kit shown in the roadmap below. Take a look:
