RED Looking to Have Sony F-Series Cinema Cameras ‘Destroyed’ – Files Patent Lawsuit

According to the report associated with the leak, the Sony NEX-3N will pack the same 16.1MP APS-C sized sensor found in the F3, with the only major differentiations between the two cameras coming in regards to that zoom control dial shown in the image above – an addition clearly added in lieu of the two E-mount power zoom lenses Sony has recently released.

Quick News - As of now, the only way to secure Sony’s new 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 retractable zoom lens for yourself is to either buy the kit option of the NEX-6 or pay a unconscionable premium price on eBay. Luckily for us, Sony doesn’t agree with their customers pursuing the latter, as the camera maker has officially priced and dated the E-mount-optic as a stand alone item.
