It’s that time of year again! Vimeo has just released word on their 2nd annual Festival + Awards to be held in New York City from June 7-9, 2012.
Submissions are now being accepted in a total of 13 categories, four of which – advertising, action sports, fashion, and lyrical are new for 2012. A $5,000 grant will be awarded to the winner of each corresponding category and a very generous $25,000 grant will land in the lap of the “Best Video Award” winner. The entry period will last until February 22, 2012 as long as you meet all the rules requirements and have $20 to spare per video on the submission fee. That number drops to $5 for Vimeo Pro and Plus members.
